                               FIM Freestyle MX WC Graz
Graz, 19th April 2008: Remi Bizouard is back in the fight for the FIM Freestyle MX World Championship. In the 3rd contest of the FMX World Championship series he beat the leader André Villa during the Suzuki NIGHT of the JUMPs in Graz. Villa only got 3rd, while Romain Izzo recuded the arrears to six points with his 2nd place.
On saturday again the Austrian people stormed into the Schwarzhalle. This time the arena was totally sold out. The challenging and biggest Indoortrack at the FMX World Championship took everything of the riders. Again Dubai X Games winner Greg Hartman did not make it into the final. Local hero Martin Schenk did not qualify on both days for the final too. This was up to Suzuki Teamrider André Villa (NOR), Remi Bizouard (FRA), Libor Podmol (CZE), Romain Izzo (FRA), Jack Rowe (USA) and Fredrik Johansson (SWE)

In the break German Lukas Weis won the Whip-Contest. But the French connection of Izzo und Bizouard inflamed a Whip firework. They jumped from two different ramps onto one landing hill at the same time. The crowd freaked out. Czech Libor Podmol von the Highest Air contest with 8,2 meter.
For the final every the last six rider were totally motivated. Fredrik Johansson started with his 4-stroke Suzuki. Cordova Flip, Indy Flip, Heelclicker and many more put him on 5th position. US-Boy Jack Rowe made it into the final, but again he had some problems and only got 6th. Libor Podmol really did an amazing comback after his injury. With hard flip combos like Cliffhanger Flip, Cordova Flip, Indy Flip, Superman Flip and No-Hand-Flip he reached 4th place.

But again the win was up to the fantastic three from friday. And it was a close decision. The most perfect run did Remi Bizouard. With No-Hand-Flip, Heelclicker Flip, Clifffhanger Flip and Ruler Flip he won. Romain Izzo did Cordova Flip, Superman Seatgrab Flip and the Shaolin Flip and was only beaten by 1 point. Third got André Villa, who had problems at his Switchblade and could not show the No-Hand-Flip to No-Hand-Landing he did in the training.
The next points of the FIM Freestyle MX World Championships will be given on May 16th and 17th at the Suzuki NIGHT of the JUMPs in Basel, Switzeland. Next saturday the FMX athletes will come to the International Meeting at the Suzuki NIGHT of the JUMPs in Krefeld, Germany.

Villa wins and Izzo with a Shaolin Flip
Graz, 18th April 2008: André Villa won the second contest of the FIM Freestyle MX World Championships and now leads the World Championships series with 40 points. With a solid final run the the Norway guy put both French riders Remi Bizouard on 2nd and Romain Izzo on 3rd position. And this even though Romain Izzo did a Shaolin Flip in the double-up.

The entire world elite in Freestyle Motocross came to Graz for the 2nd round of the FIM Freestyle MX World Championships. 7.000 people celebrated the 12 FMX-Rider out of nations at the Suzuki NIGHT of the JUMPs in the Schwarzl arena in Unterpremstätten.

The field of riders was definitly the best, which ever started on Austrian ground at the World Championship, with e.g. Dubai X Games winner Greg Hartman (USA), Jack Rowe (USA), the leader of the FIM Freestyle MX World Championship André Villa (NOR), X Games contender Remi Bizouard (FRA), two times Vice World Champion Libor Podmol (CZE), Romain Izzo (FRA), Fredrik Johansson (SWE) and local hero Martin Schenk (AUT).

Under this huge number of Worldclass athletes the riders had to give their best already in the qualifying. Suzuki Teamrider André Villa,Romain Izzo, Libor Podmol, Remi Bizouard, Fabian Bauersachs and Fredrik Johansson made it into the final. Both US-boys Jack Rowe and Greg Hartman had their problems and failed.

After the qualification André Villa won with incredible jumps the Whip-Contest. Czech Libor Podmol won Highest Air Contest with 8,0 meters.
In the final each rider pushed the trick level even harder, so the audience saw a Tsunami Flip from Remi Bizouard, Cordova Flip from Fredrik Johansson, a Whip Flip from Fabian Bauersachs, a Cliffhanger Flip from Libor Podmol and the already mentioned Shaolin Flip from Romain Izzo. But this was even not enough to beat André Villa on this day. With 1-Hand-Can Flip, 1-Hand Nac Flip, Switchblade Flip, Clicker Flip and his massive Underflip the Norway won with 3 points lead.
